Administration Overview
Introduction
Teaching your course on DEN can be one of the best experiences you have at USC. You will have a mixed audience of on campus students and remote DEN students who you may never physically meet. This special atmosphere provides unique experiences for both you and your students.

Administrative Offices
The DEN staff is here to assist you in many areas while you teach your course(s) on DEN. The academic departments work with DEN Administration to schedule the rooms, dates and times of courses. If you have any questions about the scheduling of your course, please contact your department. If you are new on DEN and would like to schedule a tour of our offices and studio classrooms, you can contact our administrative main office at (213) 740-4488 or denadmin@usc.edu or stop by OHE 106. Network Control
DEN's Network Control staff is your hands-on support group while you teach inside our studio classrooms. DEN's studio classrooms look mostly like traditional classrooms with the main exception of the control room. This control room sits at the back of the class where DEN staff and student operators monitor audio and video feeds while capturing your lectures. The control room also provides support for remote DEN student interactions, by way of phone, web, or video conferencing. Document Support
While teaching your course, documents such as your course notes and DEN student homework are handled by our Document Support Center staff. This group provides a range of services, from digitizing your notes, to receiving remote DEN student faxes, and scanning returned materials for DEN students. Most of these documents are provided conveniently and securely online as well, alleviating the need to stop by to pick up/drop off documents. Online Course Management System
DEN provides an Online Course Management System for you and your students. This system allows students, both on campus and off campus, access to digitized course lectures and notes. You can also manage this system by posting your own notes, announcements, discussions boards, etc. Please contact the administrative office if you do not have a logon for this portal.
