DEN
students are typically:
- Engineers
between 25-45 years old
- Most
have tuition assistance from their employer
- Most
are employed full-time
- Most
likely to access DEN from both home and work
- Most
have very high expectations of online course delivery quality
and customer service
DEN students
pay additional fees to be supported completely online. These
fees cover areas such as administrative support and document
handling. Both DEN students and on campus students have access
to the same online course management system. This course management
system is controlled by the faculty and includes many interactive
collaboration tools such as Discussion Boards, Virtual Classrooms,
online chat and more.
Marketing
DEN enrollments continue to increase every semester as a result
of targeted marketing and recruiting efforts by the DEN team.
Marketing tactics include participation in corporate education
fairs; site visits and presentations at industry-leading companies;
exhibiting at industry trade shows; issuing timely press releases;
and advertising in trade journals and online directories;
to name a few. DEN continually strives to develop new relationships
with industry-leading engineering-based corporations (preferably
with generous tuition reimbursement benefits), in an effort
to recruit engineers directly from these companies in their
sites all over the U.S. DEN also has established partnerships
with major corporations as their primary E-Learning providers
for certain degree programs.
DEN's
marketing team always welcomes faculty involvement
in our strategies. If you have suggestions on increasing awareness
of your course or program, please contact our marketing manager,
Jackie Williams at jywillia@usc.edu
or 213-821-2475. Jackie may also be contacting you directly
to discuss your recommendations on how to best market your
degree program.
How do
you interact with DEN students if they are not physically
located in the classrooms? DEN's studio classrooms are equipped
with many features that accommodate full interactivity with
your DEN students. Click here
